The Midwinter Conference is held annually in early February. The 2023 conference was held virtually on February 3 (9:30 am–4:15 pm EST), and was free, even for those who are not members of SUNYLA. The conference included 12 30-minute sessions with several breaks and remarks from the conference organizers. All sessions were live, with question-and-answer sessions after, or prerecorded with live question-and-answer sessions after with the presenters. All sessions were recorded. The 2023 conference can be found freely available at https://sunyla.org/sunylamidwinter-2023/. This year’s conference, focused on library data, was titled “Library Data: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.” The overall focus on library data included learning about useful methods and tools for use with data. The specific focus was on handling, analyzing, and sharing data, particularly with COUNTER 5 and SUSHI data.
