The study uses a comprehensive, transparent review approach with the analysis of available scientific literature focusing the medicinal applications. It involves the exploration of available literature using databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, Research Gate, and ISI web of knowledge. The relevant data and information were collected from different data sources including scientific databases, peer-review of previous and recently published research, and review articles. It has been found that limited research and comprehensive reviews have focused on investigating the possible antidiabetic and anticancer potential of different conopeptides.
