Data on dimensions, geometry and mode of operation were used from specialized technical documentation and the works of other authors. The design of the volute casing and impeller assembly was done with NX SIEMENS. The study of the fluid flow was done with ANSYS CFX by importing the whole, some conclusions were drawn regarding the fluid velocities and the pressure field. The influence of the cavitation phenomenon was taken into account by modelling this phenomenon, thus avoiding the appearance of the minimum negative pressures field. 摘要
