Involving all schools in the islands, the research conducted by a qualitative approach in the form of case studies and used a documentation study technique to collect data. The study findings revealed that is uncommon for high school graduates in Pongok and Celagen pursuing further education to universities, there are some teachers with non-educational undergraduate degrees, and there are almost no collections of educators handbook in the schools’ libraries. 摘要

印度尼西亚偏远和农村地区的教育具有其独特性和复杂的问题。本研究旨在调查偏远乡村小岛Pongok和Celagen的学生、教师和学习资源的现况。这项研究涉及岛屿上的所有学校,采用案例研究形式的定性方法进行,并使用文件研究技术收集数据。研究结果显示,蓬谷和塞拉根的高中毕业生升入大学的比例较低,有部分教师具有非教育本科学历,且学校图书馆几乎没有收集教育工作者手册。这一问题应引起相关利益相关者和决策者的重视,并逐步、持续地加以克服。
