The paper introduces a network transmission tracking evaluation method based on H.264 encoded video. Firstly, provide an overview of H.264 video encoding; Then, the tracking structure for capturing the characteristics of H.264 encoded video was introduced, and a typical video traffic and quality characteristics of H.264 encoded video were given; Finally, the specific encoding mechanism of H.264, such as layered B-frames, was explained.
