Morphometric and molecular analyses also supported synonymy of the species. Ephedra kardangensis, a New Synonym of Ephedra gerardiana (Ephedraceae)
Abstract Detailed examination of the protologue, herbarium, and live specimens of Ephedra kardangensis revealed that this species actually corresponds to E. gerardiana.
