摘要

本研究旨在检视新兴市场家族企业的雇佣实务。作者从社会交换理论出发,提出跨代控制意图增强了家族所有者从事有利雇佣行为的动机,作为对员工未来贡献的诱导。设计/方法/方法采用多水平回归模型,以3033家中国民营家族企业为样本进行假设检验。结果表明:家族企业的雇佣行为与跨代控制意愿正相关,且跨代控制意愿的影响取决于区域社会信任。创新/价值本研究强调了家族企业所有者的跨代控制意愿在激励家族企业有利就业中的作用。该研究为新兴市场家族企业雇佣行为的差异以及家族所有者-员工交换关系增加了细微差别。
