Botanical History and Geographical Distribution of Carex waponahkikensis (Cyperaceae)

ABSTRACT Carex waponahkikensis was first recognized and named C. scoparia var. tessellata in 1910 by Merritt Fernald and Karl Wiegand, based on collections from Washington County, Maine.
