We obtain the dispersion relation of the DIA wave in the plasma with q-distribution. In the limit q → 1, the results are in agreement with Maxwellian distribution results. The wave frequency decreases as the nonextensive index q increases, particularly for the high magnitude of the q index. The phase velocity of the wave is achieved for short and long wavelengths.
