We identify two putative male sex chromosomes in <i>S. diaconus</i>, a single putative sex chromosome in the sibling species <i>S. carnatus</i> and <i>S. chrysomelas</i>, and an unplaced sex determining contig in the sibling species <i>S. miniatus</i> and <i>S. crocotulus</i>. Rapid turnover and evolution of sex-determining regions in Sebastes rockfishes
