摘要

本文将第四次工业革命(IR4.0)定义为结合工业中人力和技术能力的“数字革命”,并提出了两个问题。第一,我国实现工业革命4.0的水平如何?第二,在为人民利用工业革命4.0做好准备方面,高等教育的作用是什么?在实现这一目标的过程中,高等教育面临哪些挑战?在马来西亚,政府对工业4.0的采用做出了乐观的预测,但实地调查结果并不一致。第二个问题的答案在于该部门准备好迎接向工业4.0迁移的挑战。在IR4.0培训方面,许多高等教育教师存在能力不足的问题。由于工业仍然落后于IR4.0的采用,教授IR4.0技能仍然是必要的。
