Sixty extracted human teeth were evaluated, divided into: ten maxillary incisors, ten mandibular incisors, ten maxillary bicuspids, ten mandibular bicuspids, ten maxillary molars, and ten mandibular molars. They were radiographed with the Digora imaging plate in two positions: long axis of the tooth parallel to the length of the plate, and long axis of the tooth parallel to the width of the same. The digital radiographic measurements of the specimens were obtained with the Digora system.
