We compared the histologic reactions for two different materials: silicone and hydroxyapatite. We prepared test samples of silicone and silicone with hydroxyapatite coating using \"wistar\" rats. We did subcutaneous implantations on the back side of rats in both samples. Histological specimens were analyzed after 4 months of observation, and it became evident that silicone with hydroxyapatite impactions did not create any fiberform capsules.
