The paper then focuses on Caro himself, highlighting aspects of his biography, especially his self-education. It emphasizes the conceptual and methodological contributions of his Latin Grammar, written in collaboration with R. J. Cuervo, and provides a detailed overview of his literary production: the translations of classical authors such as Vergil, Horace and Tibullus, his renderings of modern and contemporary poets, such as Fray Luis de Leon and A.
