Under stress conditions high molecular weight bands were disappeared and the major protein bands were located at the medium molecular weight range. Protein spectrofluorescence of leaf protein samples show main emission peak at about 320 nm in both conditions of salt stress and control. However, the emission intensities showed some variations among different maize lines in alternative conditions of control and salt stress. This might be referred to change in protein interactions.
