I highlight how the book is timely and necessary given the current sociopolitical climate, coupled with an enduring COVID-19 pandemic, and I note how it will behoove all members of higher education to critically interrogate how effectively current approaches to serving Latinx/a/o students accomplish their intended aims using texts such as this one.
