In this study, a mathematical modeling for computing the mass fraction characteristics of PEM fuel cell has been improved. It is simulation of species mass fraction in this paper. Model was set up by three conservation equations, and it was considered the Gravity in source item. The modeling domain consists of the membrane, two catalyst layers, two diffusion layers, and two channels. The results of simulation were drawn six pictures. On analyzing of pictures, it got conclusion as follows: Oxygen mass fraction in cathode of PEM fuel cell will decrease with the temperature rising. Oxygen mass fraction decreases along with channel due to electrochemical reaction. Water mass fraction in cathode of PEM fuel cell will increase with the temperature rising.
