The P&O algorithm is an MPPT technique that is put in application to the Photovoltaic system to track and operate the system at Maximum Power Point (MPP) to draw out max power from Photovoltaic system under changing atmospherical conditions. The P&O algorithm code is written in MATLAB Editor Menu using MATLAB function Simulink block. And the algorithm controls the duty cycle of the switching transistor of the DC-DC converter to acquire Maximum Power Point (MPP) and operate the system efficiently under changing atmospherical conditions.
