The sequential parallel design was employed to carry out the study. The target population was 355 while the sample size was 188 which included 8 managerial workers and 180 non-managerial employees of the hospital. Questionnaire and interview guide were used for data collection. The quantitative data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics while the qualitative data was thematically analyzed. The study established that non-monetary rewards such as employee recognition, training, development, employee independence and flexible work schedules have a positive effect on the employees’ performance. The practice of flexible working schedules currently in place in the hospital needs to be retained for effective job performance to be realized. 摘要

本研究的目的是考察非金钱奖励对员工绩效的影响在山梅鲁转诊医院在阿鲁沙,坦桑尼亚。采用顺序平行设计进行研究。目标人群355人,样本量188人,其中医院管理人员8人,非管理人员180人。采用问卷调查和访谈指南进行数据收集。定量数据采用描述性统计和推理统计进行分析,定性数据采用主题分析。研究发现,员工认可、培训、发展、员工独立性、弹性工作制等非金钱奖励对员工绩效有积极影响。为了实现有效的工作绩效,需要保留医院目前实行的灵活工作时间表。医院的管理层应该对员工进行培训和再培训,以提高他们在为患者提供服务方面的表现。
