The purpose of this study is to find out existing problems of teacher feedback so as to improve senior high school English teachers' teaching ability. According to classroom observation and data analysis, the types of the teacher feedback include positive feedback, negative feedback and multiple feedback. The characteristics of the teacher feedback are as follows: among 3 feedback types, positive feedback is the most frequently used one and negative feedback is often used with positive feedback. The existing problems in teachers' feedback are: general feedback including matter-of-fact praise and general praise is often given by teachers; students are often interrupted by teacher feedback; the teacher feedback focuses more on form of student language than on meanings of interaction between teachers and students. 摘要

本文通过对22名高中英语教师的22个班级的调查,研究了教师课堂反馈的类型和特点。采用非参与式观察法,以第十一届全国高中英语教学示范视频为基础,考察教师反馈的类型和特征。本研究的目的是发现教师反馈存在的问题,从而提高高中英语教师的教学能力。根据课堂观察和数据分析,教师反馈的类型包括正反馈、负反馈和多重反馈。教师反馈的特点是:在3种反馈类型中,积极反馈是使用频率最高的一种,消极反馈经常与积极反馈一起使用。教师反馈中存在的问题有:一般反馈包括实事求是的表扬,一般表扬多由教师来做;学生经常被老师的反馈打断;教师反馈更多地关注学生语言的形式,而不是师生互动的意义。针对教师反馈的类型、特点和存在的问题,本研究对高中英语教师如何培养反馈教学能力提出了建议。
