Entering adolescence into adulthood makes students susceptible to psychological problems, which are influenced by internal factors, one of which is self-esteem and external factors, one of which is family harmony. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-esteem and family harmony with mental health in students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The participants were 101 undergraduate students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, who were selected by convenience sampling. The data collection method used a mental health scale, self-esteem scale, and family harmony. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis shows that self-esteem and family harmony together have a significant relationship with the mental health of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta students with a value of F = 88.137 (p = 0.000) and effective contribution (64.3%. Based on these results, it means that the better the level of self-esteem and family harmony, the better the mental health condition of students, and vice versa.
