The organic wastes were: Municipal sludge (LM), salmon manure from pisciculture (LPT), and salmon manure from lake-cage farming (LSL). Five doses of these materials (sludge/soil) were prepared: 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150 t ha-1. A control without addition was also included. Results indicated that the IG, as well as radicle and hypocotyl length of lettuce was not significantly affected when sludge/soil ratio ranged between 25 to 100 t ha-1.
