Many cosmetic products are prepared and used on the Ayurvedic concepts. Twacha is matruj bhava. The foetus gets varna in the sixth month of intrauterine life. The word \"varna\" means lustre of the body. Varna is not just colour but includes all the parameters of healthy and radiant skin. Twacha varna varies among different individuals. In Ayurveda twacha varna occurs as per prakriti. According to current medical science, skin colour depends on the amount of melanin and other factors.
