La Saja d'Oro: narrare e leggere paesaggi attraversandoli
The close relationship that binds space and movement is such that one can be considered the generator of the other and viceversa. Movement is an act of reading-(re)writing of the landscape and the landscape project as a slow mobility project establishes guidelines for the exploration and knowledge of the territory, defining more or less implicit interpretations. Methods and times of travel with the frequency of the stops produce a narrative that involves the community. The case presented, the project of conversion of a former railway line in the urban area of Palermo into greenway, shows how a design intervention can affect the way in which space is appropriated and, at the same time, how the practice of walking and crossing implies giving up the functional monosemic claim that can be often found in architectural projects.
