However, because of the long cultivation period and high contamination rates, it has low production efficiency. Therefore, we first need to establish the optimum conditions for liquid spawn production to increase its production efficiency. As a result of experiments, molasses culture medium was selected for mycelial growth. Also, the optimum sugar content for molasses and amount of aeration used were approximately 8 Brix% and 0.3~0.6 vvm, respectively. Mycelial dry weight increases, while the medium decreases, as the incubation period increases.
