This leads traditional destinations to re‑assess strategies, using tools such as the Spanish standard UNE 178501 toward diagnosing their current situation. This is a study of the destination of Cuenca destination in its move toward Smart Tour‑ ism. For the investigation, historical‑logical, induction‑deduction and empirical methods were used with the ap‑ plication of surveys and semi‑structured interviews.
