摘要

缓存是影响计算机体系结构整体性能的重要因素。为了给计算机体系结构设计者提供参考,我们提出了缓存性能与缓存参数之间的关系。首先描述了主要的软件仿真方法,分析了影响缓存性能的各种因素,然后基于SimpleScalar工具集和SPEC2000基准测试套件进行了缓存性能的仿真实验。比较了分别改变缓存大小、缓存块大小和关联对缓存性能的影响,并对实验结果进行了详细分析。其结果基本上符合体系结构的缓存原则。最后给出了合理的缓存参数和结论。
