This beamformer can produce optimal patterns with minimal distortions in sidelobe regions while maintaining the main lobe and placing nulls in the direction of interfering signals. To demonstrate this ability, the proposed beamformer is evaluated through several scenarios and compared to a beamformer based on Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO). The results show that the proposed beamformer maintains the main lobe toward the desired user direction while imposing nulls in unwanted user directions (interferences) and that it surpassed BPSO-based beamformers in terms of convergence speed and interference suppression ability.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J.
