The data from the questionnaire were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics on SPSS Version 22. Moreover, the analysis of interview data was completed through data condensation, data display, and drawing/verifying conclusions. The observation checklist was used to reveal the kinds of questioning and classroom interaction that is frequently used by the teacher. Based on the quantitative data, it was found that the types of questioning affecting the students’ motivation were the leading, display, and open-ended questions. However, the types of questioning that the most frequently used by the teachers are referential and display questions. Moreover, the questionnaire result showed that the whole classroom and group interaction were the types of classroom interactions that most motivated the students in the learning process. From the observation, the teacher facilitated the student with various classroom interactions based on their need. 摘要

本研究旨在揭示对英语学习者学习动机影响最大的教师提问和课堂互动类型。本研究采用混合方法设计,选取30名学生和1名教师作为调查对象。通过问卷调查和对学生的结构化访谈,以及三次会议期间的教学过程观察清单,获得定量和定性数据。使用SPSS第22版的描述性统计对问卷数据进行分析。通过数据浓缩、数据显示、得出/验证结论,完成对访谈数据的分析。观察表用于揭示教师经常使用的提问和课堂互动类型。通过定量数据发现,影响学生学习动机的问题类型有引导性问题、展示性问题和开放式问题。然而,教师最常使用的问题类型是参考问题和展示问题。此外,问卷调查结果显示,整个课堂互动和小组互动是学生在学习过程中最具动力的课堂互动类型。从观察来看,老师根据学生的需要为他们提供各种课堂互动。总的来说,老师通过提问和课堂互动促进了学生的学习。
