The C5710 mice liver nuclei responded with a negative photoelectric current pulse to white light (200–800nm). During the apoptosis of liver nuclei induced by dATP (deoxyadenosine-5-triphosphate), the photoelectric current showed a dynamic decrease, which was in accordance with the results of fluorescence microscopy and agarose gel electrophoresis.
