Abisheva","doi":"10.1109/DeSE.2019.00082","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"On the basis of mathematical modeling methods, an effective approach to the problem of determining the spread of the oil slick formed in the event of a possible accident in the conditions of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian sea is proposed. With the help of the CARDINAL software package(SP), a mathematical model of oil distribution in case of emergency spills in the Northern Caspian has been developed. As a result of modeling, the values of the main parameters of the Kashagan oil spot (artificial island D) were obtained: duration (t), diameter (l), thickness of the circular spot (h) and spreading rate (U) at the end of the first (inertial), second (gravitational) viscous) and third (surface tension) stages of spreading with different volumes of oil spill.
