Kejadian dismenorea pada remaja usia sekolah masih tergolong tinggi. Banyaknya dampak yang diakibatkan oleh dismenorea berakibat pada penurunan produktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan penanganan dismenorea dengan kualitas nyeri yang terjadi pada siswi Aliyah Madrasah Ulumul Quran Pagar Air. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 83 siswi kelas X, XI, dan XII IPA Madrasah Ulumul Quran Pagar Air. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner yang selanjutnya diisi oleh responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswi terhadap dismenorea masih kurang (69,8%). Penanganan siswi terhadap dismenorea juga masih kurang (46,9%). Dismenorea umum dialami dalam skala nyeri sedang (49,4%). Pada siswi dengan pengetahuan yang kurang mengenai dismenorea, skala nyeri yang umum ditemui berada dalam skala sedang (53,4%). Pada siswi dengan penanganan yang kurang terhadap dismenorea, skala nyeri yang umum ditemui berada dalam skala ringan (51,3%).Abstract. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in students is still relatively high. Many impacts caused by dysmenorrhea result in a decrease for students productivity and learning achievement. This study aims to determine the description of knowledge and treatment with the quality of pain that occurs in female students of Aliyah Madrasah Ulumul Quran Pagar Air. This method of research is a quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional design. The research sample was 83 students of class X, XI, and XII IPA Madrasah Ulumul Quran Pagar Air. Sample selection using stratified random sampling technique. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires which were then filled out by the respondents. The results showed that the knowledge about dysmenorrhea was still in the poor category (69.8%). The treatment of dysmenorrhea also in the poor category (46.9%). Generally, the pain of dysmenorrhea was in moderate scale (49.4%). In students with less knowledge about dysmenorrhea, the pain scale that is commonly encountered is on a moderate scale (53.4%).
