IV, 1. In other words, it analyses the relevance of post-Biblical history in clarifying the nature of the biblical text. According to Origen, the historical events foretold by Jesus, which have recently been verified, such as the expansion and persecution of Christianity, show Jesus of Nazareth’s divine nature.
