Best industry practice has been developed by MISC Berhad based on the past experiences and leasons learnt , to ensure the continuity of operations and prevent production loss through immediate mitigation actions, efficient repair strategy and minimum requirements for new design. The benefits of establishing of a minimum size of tether chain and the implementation of backup tether interventions are emphasized.
