Materials and Methods: Using most probable number (MPN) and total plate count (TPC) method were used. Results and Discussion: The number of MPN >2400 bacteria/100 ml in sample A, 150 bacteria/100 ml in sample B, and >2400 bacteria/100 ml in sample C. As for TPC calculation result obtained 3752 x 102 coliform/ml in sample A, 4414 x 102 coliform/ml in sample B, and 5941 x 102 coliform/ml in sample C. Conclusion: Drilling water near the source of high pollution in Bukittinggi City is contaminated with coliform bacteria.
