Ensuring an increase in the reliability and durability of automotive diesel engines. A brief description is given and an economic comparison of these tuning means is made. The values of the unit costs are given, taking into account the growth of the engine resource for each tuning option. The unit costs differ insignificantly. Preference can be given to the oil level regulator and the limit switch.
