Wonogiri Regency is a district that is aggressively promoting the potential of tourism villages. Therefore pay attention to the tourism potential of villages in Wonogiri Regency and find the right strategy to create an advanced and sustainable tourism village so that it can help improve the regional economy without eliminating local wisdom. This type of research is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data on villages in Wonogiri Regency using interview techniques, field observations, documentation, and other physical evidence. The data obtained and collected will be analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the potential for tourism villages in Wonogiri Regency varies in type and quantity. This also creates obstacles that arise during the implementation of activities. Obstacles that arise in the development of tourist villages in Wonogiri Regency are human resources, inadequate infrastructure, very minimal promotion, and the absence of regulations governing tourism villages.
