Despite the criticism raised by their ability to ‘go wrong,’ practices as method illuminates the intrinsic connection between local faith communities and doctrinal theology. This article explores practices understood in light of Alasdair MacIntyre’s concept of learning a ‘second first language’ as a means of bridging inter and intra religious contextual divides.
