This study aims to determine the total nitrogen content in the fertilizer sample. Analysis of nitrogen content in fertilizers was carried out using the Kjeldahl method. The principle of determining total nitrogen using the Kjeldahl method is that nitrogen in fertilizer samples is hydrolyzed with concentrated sulfuric acid to form ammonium sulfate compounds. The product of the destruction is ammonium sulfate compound which is distilled in an alkaline condition which is then accommodated with boric acid. The resulting distillate is titrated with sulfuric acid solution until a green color changes to pink.
