The objective of this study is to identify whether consumers’ body satisfaction would influence their service satisfaction at retail stores when service failure of wrong size clothing recommendations has occurred. Additionally, in this study, gender differences in body satisfaction and purchasing intention is tested. The research identifies that body satisfaction to service satisfaction and service satisfaction to purchasing intention have a direct relationship with each other. Body satisfaction and purchasing intention do not have a direct relationship with each other. 摘要

服装选择一直是消费者表达个性和提升自尊的一种方式。尽管之前有大量关于身体满意度和个人服装选择的研究,但人们对消费者的身体满意度及其对服装购买决策的影响知之甚少。因此,本研究试图揭示消费者的身体满意度及其对其购买意愿的影响之间的关系。本研究的目的是确定消费者的身体满意度是否会影响他们在零售商店的服务满意度,当错误的服装尺码建议服务失败发生。此外,在本研究中,测试了性别对身体满意度和购买意愿的差异。研究发现,身体满意度对服务满意度和服务满意度对购买意愿有直接关系。身体满意度与购买意愿之间不存在直接关系。值得注意的是,本研究还发现男性的身体满意度更高,但在服务失败后的购买意愿上没有性别差异。
