Control of resonant modes of a smart structure using OMPC
In this article the design and experimental implementation of an observer based model predictive control (OMPC) scheme for active damping of the first two resonant modes of a smart structure is presented. The design of this controller is based on an identified model of the plant. A Kalman filter is used to obtain full state information.
