The isolated strain has been shown to be sensitive to ketoconazole, econazole, and miconazole; less sensitive to amphotericin B, but resistant to metronidazole, nystatin, griseofulvin and flucytosine. Chrysonilia sitophila can be grown easily, so it can also establish an antifungal sensitivity profile.
