The study investigates issues pertaining to tourism, in particular, as well as the country, in general. The study was conducted in cooperation with a tour operator based in Ulaanbaatar, the nation’s capital. The methodology involved an electronically administered survey to individuals who used the services of the tour operator during the five‑year period from 2014‑2019. Research results indicate that there are many areas in which the nation excels, but there are also areas that need improvement.
