With the changing scenario in the industry with the introduction of technology, the adoption of BIM has brought forth many a debates among professionals. With the growing technological advancements, there is also a growing need for knowledge; hence many professionals and researchers are working on various aspects of research in various fields of BIM. The paper aims to review the amount of research done on the use and adoption of BIM in various fields of construction project. By examining 130 publications from various sources, a cumulative analysis of the fields of research and progression in publication has been studied and established.
