In this article, we have proposed an alternative flow rate measurement technique for conductive fluid. The polarization-based flow meter has been developed in which four metallic electrodes are inserted across the measuring pipe—the polarization impedance forms when electrodes, which is metallic, come in contact with a conductive fluid. The terminal polarization impedance changes with the conductive fluid flow variation, and this is used as an estimating parameter. The proposed flow meters possess better sensitivity and linearity.
