It promotes wound healing effect in the case of cradle and bunions. The flavonoids apigenin, luteolin, quercetin, patuletin, and volatile oil compounds like bisabolol and its oxides, also as azulenes, are liable for chamomile's biological action. There are several chamomile chemocultivars. Chamomile is anti-inflammatory, deodorant, antibacterial, carminative, sedative, antiseptic, anticatarrhal, and spasmolytic.
