A sample of 85 students with hearing impairment was selected through a non-probability sampling technique.  A structured questionnaire was developed and got validated by establishing validity with the help of relevant experts. 摘要

目的:听力障碍学生可以使用Facebook、Instagram、WhatsApp、YouTube、Snapchat、TikTok、LinkedIn、Twitter与主流社会进行互动。本研究旨在调查高校听力障碍学生的社交媒体实践对其融入主流社会的影响。设计/方法/方法采用横断面调查设计来收集数据。研究对象为拉合尔市招收的毕业听障学生。采用非概率抽样方法,选取85名听力障碍学生作为样本。编制了一份结构化问卷,并在相关专家的帮助下建立效度进行了验证。通过Cronbach alpha估计可靠度为。81。研究发现:通过推理统计分析发现,不同性别和听力损失水平/程度的学生在使用社交媒体方面没有差异,社交媒体在将听力损失学生融入主流社会方面增加了很大的价值,但学生仍然没有意识到使用这个平台进行更广泛的社交和全球学术包容。含义/原创性/价值:该研究将补充现有的知识体系,并将指导学生更好地使用社交媒体融入主流社会的各个环节。
