Circulating tumor cells (CTC) are removed from the primary tumor or metastatic tumor to blood. The appearance of CTC in malignant tumors is usually related to the poor prognosis, such as metastasis and recurrence, short survival time and so on. The combination of TK1 and CTC can also be used as an independent predictor of survival.
