Materials amounting to 33 – 39% of the throughput are recovered in the Shredding and Separation Facility, which consists of a manual separation system, a mechanical separation system, a shredder, a pair of shears and incinerators.</p><p>The facility system is shown in order of processing of the waste. The secondary pollution control, safety equipment, instrumentation, etc., are also described.
