RECREATIONAL POTENTIAL OF THE TOURIST ZONE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT NATURAL CONDITIONS (CASE STUDY: R. GANGA - RISHIKESH)

Have been studied the factors affecting the recreational potential of tourist zones. As main basics, indicators have been use: physical and environmental, socio-demographic, political and economic. The work was finished on the scientific internships at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing in Dehradun. For a comprehensive study of the recreational potential, field and laboratory work by using remote sensing methods. Considered are the features of planning tourist zones.
